An apartment in the heart of the city that is transformed and becomes a way point for travellers and nomads. Those who want to find the spirit of this location will surely breathe it in its large living room, as it lets the rooftops and the Mole Antonelliana enter through its windows. But they will also find an international spirit, with furniture from all over the world and particularly from Paris, a city that has always been closely linked to Savoy’s capital.
City and art enter the apartment with their influences and the narrations of stories from the past. In the evening you can see the sparkling red numbers of the Fibonacci sequence, an installation by Mario Merz. This work is dedicated to him, in a continuous playful recall between the design choices and the artist’s presence.
The shape of the lamps, the structures of the custom-designed furniture, the reference to the neon and a "missing" poem are all allusions to a link between the project and installations of the city.
A careful restoration of the pre-existing elements allowed to unveil the beauty of the accommodation, which had been hidden for years, thanks to the enhancement of the characterizing elements that give the apartment a very special charm and feeling.
