The Penthouse

Project for a city hillside apartment

350 sq.m. + terraces | Year 2014

In the new residential complex of La Salle, located in the Gran Madre di Dio hillside, there is a large apartment with one of the most beautiful views of the city of Turin.

The interior and exterior converse in all the spaces of the house, the exclusive views and the light that enters through the large windows throughout the accommodation creates striking domestic landscapes.

The entire apartment is on the 5th floor and consists of a large living area, connected to the outside, and a sleeping area, consisting of different rooms, designed for the owner and her children.

With an internal lift one can then reach an unexpected and beautiful space: a terrace of over 350 square meters that embraces the whole city, from the Basilica of Superga to Monte dei Cappuccini, from Piazza Vittorio to the Mole Antonelliana. On the roof of this magnificent terrace there is a magical box, built as a volume that is permeable, protected but open to the city, where one can live, contemplate, rest, and enjoy the ever changing landscape from dawn to dusk.
